Call for applications for young researchers to participate in a roundtable as part of the international workshop on ‘Small States and Good Governance’ (IIA, Iceland)

Small States and Good Governance: Travel and subsistence grants for young researchers to participate in a roundtable for young researchers in Ljubljana 4 April 2019.

On 4 April 2019 the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, will host an international workshop under the heading ‘Small States and Good Governance’. This is the fourth and final international workshop hosted by the Jean Monnet Network “Navigating the Storm: The Challenges of Small States in Europe”.

The workshop’s focus is on public administration and governance in small states. The Network offers 2 grants of up to €500 for young researchers to come to Ljubljana and present their research at a roundtable held in conjunction with the international workshop.

The roundtable will be a closed event attended by selected invitees and academics and experts from the Network. The young researchers will be given a chance present their research and receive valuable and constructive feedback from leading academics in the field of small state and public administration studies.

Grant applicants should send a 200 word abstract outlining their research and a CV to ams@hi.is.

Deadline for applications is 10 March 2019.
