CIR Professor – Andreja Jaklič – participated at the iBegin conference on the role of organized or serendipitous temporary proximity in value creation (CIR, Slovenia)

In December 2017 Andreja Jaklič from the Centre of International Relations (CIR) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, participated at the iBegin conference on the role of organized or serendipitous temporary proximity in value creation. Her contribution (prepared together with Metka Stare, who is also a CIR researcher) on ‘Creation of value and knowledge connectivity in services GVCs’ was presented in a session on the nature of innovation in global value chains. The event that took place at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Italy brought together researchers of global value chains from the fields of economic geography, innovation, and international business.
