“The role of the European Union in Technological and Commercial War”, 27 June 2019
This debate shall concern the role of Europe in the rapidly evolving international economic landscape. Participants shall seek to define a European role in a world economy which promises to move away from the liberal international order of the second half of the twentieth century, and towards a re-emergence of nationalism, among other phenomena. The debate, chaired by the director of the Elcano Royal Institute, shall feature Lourdes Casanova, director of the Emerging Markets Institute, as well as Senior and Principal investigators of the Royal Institute.
