EU Diplomacy Lecture “EU foreign policy: Has the Lisbon Treaty failed? Lessons learned and perspectives” by Ambassador Pierre Vimont, 29 October 2015 (College of Europe Bruges)

2On 29 October 2015, the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe, Bruges campus, will hold the second annual high-level “EU Diplomacy Lecture”, delivered by Ambassador Pierre Vimont, Carnegie Europe, Personal Envoy of the President of the European Council, and former Executive Secretary-General of the EEAS. Ambassador Vimont will explore the experience of the last years in relation to the foreign policy and diplomatic action driven by the EU and its member states, the many challenges Europe is facing today and the way it could respond to these difficulties, in particular through a better awareness of what the EU represents in the world today and a clear vision of the strategy it should unfold in the future.
