Solidarity, Securitisation, and Europe in an Age of Hybrid Threats, Mark Galeotti (IIR, Czech Republic)

Mark Galeotti contributed to the Central European Political Science Review an analysis of the series of very real threats Europe is facing from Russia. Ukraine is depicted as a battleground on which two different visions of foreign policy are colliding – the European value-based conception, committed to the maintenance of the post-1945 world order, and Russia’s will to enforce, militarily if need be, its allegedly rightful status as a ‘great power’.
