After the project’s kick-off conference ‘Grasping the European Council: Raising Awareness for a Key Institution’ in January with many participants from the TEPSA network, the SUMMIT roundtable series will enable debates with academics, practitioners and the general public on a European Council topic in selected European cities. The topics include the European Council as ‘constitutional architect’, its internal dynamics, its role in the institutional balance of the EU and specifically vis-à-vis the European Parliament. Roundtables will take place at the Europe House in Vienna (18 February), at the College of Europe in Natolin (8 April), at the Charles University in Prague (14 April), at the IAI in Rome (20 April) at the University Vilnius (26 April) and at the TAU in Istanbul (4 May). All interested persons are cordially invited.
