The European Commission (Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development) has launched a public consultation on revising the European Consensus on Development.
The consultation seeks the views of all interested parties (citizens or organisations) on how development policy, in the context of EU external action as foreseen by the Lisbon Treaty, should respond to the range of landmark 2015 summits and conferences, and also to the rapid changes happening in the world.
Views from this consultation will be used to inform the way forward on the revision of the European Consensus on Development and other external aspects of 2030 Agenda implementation.
The consultation will be open from 30 May 2016 to 21 August 2016. For more information on the consultation and to learn how to submit your contribution, please click here.
