Between 2 and 5 July 2017, Andreja Jaklič, PhD, from Centre of International Relations (CIR) took part in the Academy of International Business (AIB) Annual Meeting in Dubai. The conference was focused on the contribution of MNEs to building sustainable societies. At the event Andreja presented the findings from a research project on services in global value chains that she conducted together with Metka Stare, PhD (also from CIR). She moreover held an introductory speech in a panel on the new modes of cooperation in emerging markets from the Central and Eastern European (CEE) and Russian perspectives. As a member of the AIB-CEE Chapter executive board, Andreja Jaklič also participated in the regional Chapter’s meeting and the developmental workshop at the beginning of the conference.
