At the end of June 2020, the General Assembly of the European Association of Developing Research and Training Institutes (EADI) elected associate prof. dr. Boštjan Udovič, deputy head of the Centre of International Relations (CIR) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, as a representative of Slovenia in the Executive Committee of EADI. EADI is the largest organisation affiliating institutes where development studies are researched or taught. Slovenia has been a committed member to EADI since the early 1970s. Two other members from CIR served as members of EADI Executive Committee in the past: i.e. prof. emeritus dr. Marjan Svetličič and prof. dr. Maja Bučar, head of CIR. Prof. dr. Maja Bučar was also the co-editor of the book series EADI Global Development, published by Palgrave (Springer), until march 2020.
