Migration continues to be one of the most sensitive and debated topics within the EU and its Member States. For this reason, TEPSA is organising a detailed seminar for Master’s students on EU Asylum and Migration policies.
This training will offer 20 graduate students an opportunity to gain first-hand insights from researchers, EU practitioners, policymakers and officials on the current state of play of the migration challenge.
Participants will follow tailored lectures by leading academics and complement them by visiting:
➢ European Commission, Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME)
➢ Council of the European Union, General Secretariat for Home Affairs
➢ European Parliament, meeting with an MEP working on the migration portfolio
➢ European External Action Service, Division of Migration and Human Security
➢ An NGO and a Think Tank
➢ The Permanent Representation of an EU Member State
