Call for Applications: “Migration Summer School 2023”, Deadline February 27 (RSCAS-EUI, Italy)

The 19th Migration Summer School will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about recent trends in research on the transnational governance of international migration, asylum and mobility.

It will have a global focus, addressing the following eight substantive topics: migration drivers, migration impacts, migration governance, migration attitudes, irregular migration, labour migration, citizenship and integration, and asylum and refugee protection.

The Summer School will follow a problem-oriented approach to encourage critical engagement. Over the course of the 10 days, participants will be supported by extensive background material, debates, group work, individual drop-in sessions with tutors plus sessions during which attendees can present their own projects.

Seven scholarships are available. Researchers, civil servants, journalists, teachers, and professionals from intergovernmental and governmental agencies working in migration-related areas are encouraged to apply.
