TEPSA’s EU@Work Seminar on EU Affairs, 29 September – 2 October 2020

Funded by the Europe for Citizens programme of the European Commission, this 4-day  seminar offered 15 undergraduate students (Bachelor students, high-school students and recent graduates) an opportunity to gain first-hand insights from researchers, EU practitioners, policymakers and officials on the existing rules and practices within the EU institutions and on the state of play of the main EU policies.

The seminar brought participants to Brussels, the heart of EU politics, from Tuesday 29 September to Friday 2 October 2020.

 

The seminar was organised under the academic lead of Prof. Dr. Michael KaedingJean Monnet Professor ad personam, Professor for European Integration and European Union Politics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and Member of the Flying Faculty of the College of Europe in Bruges and the Turkish-German University in Istanbul. The seminar combined expert lectures and meetings to key EU institutions, think tanks and civil society organisations, including:

➢ The European Commission,
➢ The Council of the European Union,
➢ The European Parliament,
➢ The Secretariat of The EU Agencies Network,
➢ The House of European History.
