Call for Applications: “The Strategic Compass of the EU after the ‘strategic dialogue’:an attempt to re-territorialize European security?”, Deadline October 31 (Egmont, Belgium)

Over the past two years, the CSDP political debate has focused mainly on the Strategic Compass (SC), a tool that, ideally, will aim to identify and define the main threats to the security of the EU, to frame the concrete objectives of the CSDP and to program future of European military cooperation. The SC will be unveiled in November 2021 before its adoption in 2022. In this seminar, involving six researchers in two panels, we will try to question about the opportunities, critical issues and possible evolutions that SC will bring to European foreign policy, focusing on both internal and external dynamics.

The submission should include:

Travel and stay expenses will be reimbursed up to 150€.
