We are delighted to announce the third VIADUCT Teaching Award call. VIADUCT awards excellent teaching in the fields of EU-Turkey relations and the Future of the EU: new forms of relations between the EU-27 and neighbouring countries. The Award of €1500 will be given at the VIADUCT online conference on 22 – 23 October 2020. Nominations are accepted until 15 September 2020.
Objectives
To recognise outstanding teaching in the fields of EU-Turkey relations and the Future of the EU: new forms of relations between the EU-27 and neighbouring countries.Teaching excellence comes in many forms and may include, but are not limited to:
- inspirational lectures, given with clarity and verve, inspiring a new generation to study the EU;
- engaging and inclusive seminar teaching that allows students to question and critique texts and interpretations of EU-Turkey relations and/or new forms of relations between the EU andneighbouring countries;
- simulation games or online courses.
The intention is to reach out beyond the VIADUCT Network and spread best practice in the field wherever it is taught from Vancouver to Vladivostok. Nominations and self-nominations are welcome from those teaching within and beyond the VIADUCT network. Nominations of young scholars are especially encouraged.
