With the aim of giving young researchers a voice, CIDOB is launching its 4th Call for Papers on the Analysis of International Relations for the 33rd edition of CIDOB International Yearbook, an annual volume devoted to the analysis and study of international relations and politics. This call is addressed to students, experts, and analysts under the age of 30 in order to encourage a renewed vision of today’s international challenges. The articles presented should fit into one of the following thematic categories: planetary boundaries, referring to the limits we must impose on ourselves as a society if we are to survive on a planet with limited resources, and how this may impact international relations; democracy in crisis and global discontent, in relation to the rise of polarisation, populism and authoritarianism on a global scale and to the role of fake news and misinformation in this process; and imagining the future: a present imperative, an exercise that aims to identify reasons for optimism and resources for action in light of the multiple changes facing human societies. Papers should be sent by email to anuariointernacional[at]cidob.org before 10 April 2023. They may be submitted in English, Spanish or Catalan.
