CIFE Executive Training: “Data protection and artificial intelligence: European policies”, 26-29 June 2020 (CIFE)

A two-day training course on the major current challenges linked to technological innovation, data protection and artificial intelligence in the European Union.

June 26, 2020: The first day of training will be dedicated to data protection, using a case study with current examples such as the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and contact tracing of patients from COVID-19. It will also focus more specifically on data protection issues, following the example of Bulgaria.

June 29, 2020: The second day will deal with artificial intelligence. It will address the limitations of artificial intelligence and offer an ethical analysis by discussing the balance between human autonomy and machine autonomy. The training will be illustrated with several examples of the use of artificial intelligence in European policies, particularly in the context of smart cities and smart borders.
