CIR Members at the Event on Addressing Euroscepticism and Illiberalism in the EU (CIR, Slovenia)

On Friday, 6 May 2022, the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (FSS UL), hosted an event on addressing Euroscepticism and Illiberalism in the European Union (EU). The event gathered an international group of students and researchers, as well as other stakeholders, who had an opportunity to participate in a workshop focused on identifying (regional) Eurosceptic and illiberal narratives and developing counter-narratives, listen to expert speakers present the latest findings and their views on the topic and join the discussion in a Q&A session. The event was organised as part of the ‘Tackling Illiberalism and Euroscepticism from Below’ project supported by the EU program Europe for Citizens and in cooperation with FSS UL. From FSS UL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Lovec and Assist. Dr. Faris Kočan from the Centre of International Relations (CIR) are engaged in the project.
