The conference is organized to introduce the Right to Future Program, initiated by the Istanbul Policy Center and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute at Lund University.
The conference will take place on Thursday, October 31 from 16:00-19:30 at IPC Karaköy. The keynote speech of the event will be held by Matthew Scott from Raoul Wallenberg Institute at Lund University.
Right to Future Program was founded by Istanbul Policy Center and Raoul Wallenberg Institute in order to initiate a rights-based discussion on climate action, support works with this purpose, and enrich the discourse of human and environmental rights in climate action. The program aims to support academic works about rights-based climate action, publish articles, organize events such as conferences and workshops to increase the capacity of academia and civil society on the issue, and develop a rights-based perspective on climate policies through projects and cooperation with regional governments and public institutions.
