On 26 April an international conference took place in Budapest, under the title “Trade with Asia”. The event was organized by the Institute of World Economics of RCERS, Hungarian Academy of Sciences in the framework of the Visegrad cooperation and sponsored by the International Visegrad Fund (project number 11220101). The conference discussed the recent trends of trade by the four Visegrad countries with the Asian region. Among the speakers there were experts from the host Institute as well as Erich Kriz, from the Europeum Institute, Prague; Patryk Toporowski, from PISM, Warsaw and Karol Frank from the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava.
