Dr. Metka Stare, research professor at the Centre of International Relations, Slovenia, presented a paper entitled ‘Facilitating circular change with services’ at the 27th conference of the European Association for Research on Services (RESER), which was held in Bilbao, Spain, between 7 and 9 September 2017. Her paper deals with circular changes implemented by the Slovenian service company (e.g. Business Transformation Centre – BTC) and brings insights into the modalities of transformation towards sustainability that benefit not only the company but also its partners and the broader community. The phenomenon of ‘Circular economy’ is attracting an increasing interest of research, business and policy spheres, as it deals with the critical issues of sustainability.
