EEAS’s East StratCom Task Force publishes two weekly newsletters

EEAS

The EEAS’s East StratCom Task Force was set up following the European Council in March 2015, which asked the EU High Representative to submit, in cooperation with EU institutions and Member States, an action plan on strategic communication in order to address Russia’s ongoing disinformation campaigns. As part of this effort, it offers two public, weekly newsletters to stay up to date with the latest disinformation stories and narratives:

  • The Disinformation Review collects examples of pro-Kremlin disinformation articles and stories all around Europe. Every Tuesday, it gives you precise data on where disinformation has appeared, showing the trend of the week. See what it looks like.
  • The Disinformation Digest analyses how pro-Kremlin media see the world and what independent Russian voices say. Every Friday, it shows key trends on Russian social media, so you can put pro-Kremlin narratives into their wider context. See what is looks like.

You can sign up to receive the English newsletters here and subscribe to the Russian versions here. You can also keep in touch with us on Twitter by following @EUvsDisinfo.

At the same time, the Disinformation Review depends on a network of contributors who follow the pro-Kremlin disinformation in their countries and report it to us. We are constantly looking for new partners who might help us exposing the disinformation campaign in all European countries. If you know anyone who might be interested in cooperating with us on this, or if you yourself would care to help us, receiving some additional visibility through that, don’t hesitate to contact Jakub.kalensky@eeas.europa.eu.
