Elcano Royal Institute rated Europe’s 9th best think tank and world’s 15th according the University of Pennsylvania’s ratings. 31 December 2019
The Institute has experienced an outstanding rise in the 2018 Global Go To Think Tanks Index Report over the previous year’s edition. The Elcano Royal Institute retains its position as Spain’s leading think tank and Western Europe’s ninth best. However, in the Foreign Policy and International Relations category it is up eight places to number 15 and is thus now among the world’s 20 most influential according to the 2018 Global Go To Think Tanks Index (GGTTI), released on an annual basis by the University of Pennsylvania.
