This paper analyses the results from surveys conducted in the four largest European countries (excluding the UK) in order to compare the attitudes of their citizens toward s the European Union. Other relevant aspects are also tested, such as attitudes towards globalization or immigration, the perception that each country has of its influence within the EU, the preferred alliances in that context and the opinion on the existence of shared interests with Spain.
