IEP is pleased to invite you to our seventh Ukraine Breakfast Debate on Thursday, 3 May 2018 from 8.30 to 10.45 a.m. on the topic of “The EU-Ukraine-Russia Energy Triangle: Nord Stream 2, energy security, and reforms in Ukraine”. Olena Pavlenko, Roman Nitsovych and Denys Nazarenko from the Ukrainian think tank DiXi Group and Dr. Kirsten Westphal from the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) will discuss the current state of the EU-Ukraine-Russia Energy Triangle. The following questions will be addressed during the debate: What are the key developments within the EU-Ukraine-Russia energy relations since 1991? How does the recent decision by the Stockholm arbitration court affect the Ukrainian-Russian energy relations? What does the construction of Nord Stream 2 imply for Ukraine as a transit country and for Ukraine’s and the EU’s energy security?
