The Institute for European Studies and the Europe Direct Information Centre (University of Malta) organises the launch of its publication ‘Malta’s EU Presidency: a Study in a Small State Presidency of the Council of the EU’. The book represents the first in a series of publications which the Institute intends to issue focusing on Malta and the European Union. It is fitting that, for our initial publication, we provide the first and only academic assessment of the Maltese Presidency of the Council.
The launch will comprise an address by the Prime Minister, Dr Joseph Muscat, as well as a panel discussion on the book, followed by a reception (sponsored by the Europe Direct Information Centre at the University of Malta).
All those attending will be given a complimentary copy of the book.
