On 18 September 2019, the Ministry of Foreign And European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava hosted a Trans European Debate on migration co-organised by TEPSA and its Slovak member, Comenius University, with the support of the Europe for Citizens Programme.
Peter Stano, coordinator for migration in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, opened the debate, which was moderated by Lucia Mokrá, (Chairperson of the TEPSA Board and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University) , and was attended by around 40 citizens.
Prof. Jaap de Zwaan (TEPSA Secretary General and Emeritus Professor at the Erasmus University Rotterdam), Clarissa do Nascimento Tabosa, PhD. (FSES CU), Miroslava Čerešníková, PhD, Vladimír Ira (Slovak Academy of Science), and Lucia Najšlová, PhD. (Charles University, Czech Republic) provided their expertise on migration policies in the European Union and in the Visegrád Four countries.
