The conference will celebrate the long tradition of teaching and researching international relations (IR) in Slovenia. Prominent current and former professors who have contributed to the development of the discipline will share their thoughts on the history, present and future of IR. Two keynote speakers (Prof. Dr. Bojko Bučar from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana and Prof. Dr. Stefano Guzzini from the Uppsala University) will reflect on the topic of the conference. The conference will also host HE Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia. Numerous panellists from all over the world and high representatives of ISA, EISA, and CEEISA (three major academic associations focused on IR studies) will address the audience as well.
