TRACK Online Discussion: “The European Council and the German EU Presidency 2020”, 27 April (CETEUS, Cologne)

During the second half of 2020, Germany held the presidency of the European Council and stood before the challenge of finding an agreement regarding the Multiannual Financial Framework as well as the Recovery and Resillience Facility. Babara Lippert (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik) and Janis Emmanouilidis (European Policy Centre) will discuss how Germany took on the expectations and challenges of the presidency and what role it will play after the Federal Election in the fall of 2021, both in the EU and the European Council.
