On Friday, 30 October 2020, prof. dr. Maja Bučar and assist. dr. Jana Arbeiter from the Centre of International Relations (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia) took part in an expert meeting on the future of international development cooperation in Europe and Slovenia, organised by Sloga Platform (a platform of non-governmental organizations for development, global education and humanitarian aid). At the meeting, they presented an overview of the current state of international development cooperation in the European Union and Slovenia, on the basis of which they pointed out various possibilities for the future. They also touched on the projections and forecasts of various international organisations and presented possible scenarios for official development assistance (ODA) and development cooperation.
