Experts’ Debrief: Trans-European Reflections on the EU’s Response to Russia’s war in Ukraine

In the context of Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) has been working to analyse what the EU is doing, has pledged to do, and what more it can do to provide support to Ukraine and Ukrainians. As a special issue within our Observatory, we have gathered key experts from across the TEPSA Network to analyse the EU’s response to the war in Ukraine. On March 10-11, the EU leaders met at Versailles to discuss, among other topics, actions the European Union can take to support Ukraine. It is in this context that our experts have analysed decisions taken thus far, and will recommend what the EU can do beyond its current commitments.

In addition to a foreword by TEPSA Secretary-General Jim Cloos and some concluding remarks by TEPSA Executive Director Mariam Khotenashvili, our expert contributors include:

  • Krševan Antun Dujmović, Institute for Development and International Relations, Croatia
  • Marco Siddi, Finnish Institute of Internaional Affairs, Finland
  • Izabela Surwillo, DIIS, Danish Institute for International Studies, Denmark
  • Veronika Slakaityte, DIIS, Danish Institute for International Studies, Denmark
