Assist. Faris Kočan from the Centre of International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, commented on the China-Serbia relations during the Covid-19 pandemic for Bloomberg. He stated that a perception of China being more prepared to help than the EU has developed in Serbia. He explained that this started with mask diplomacy and continues with vaccines, despite the fact that Balkan nations are strategically dependent on EU.
