The Istituto Affari Internazionali is pleased to announce its participation in the Trade and Technology Dialogue (TTD), a three-year project coordinated by CEPS and led by Prof. Andrea Renda. The project will support the activities of the EU-US Trade and Technology Council (TTC). The IAI is a partner of the consortium with the European University Institute (EUI) and Forum Europe and it will support the work of the TTD taking part in a multidisciplinary team that involves experts from both sides of the Atlantic, in order to facilitate the adoption of shared initiatives. The Providence Group will act as subcontractor in the United States, securing the involvement of US stakeholders. The consortium will promote research activities, will deliver innovative analysis and ideas, and it will organise events involving stakeholders and EU and US government officials. These activities will maximise transatlantic cooperation. The TTC was formally established by the European Commission and the US administration during the EU-US Summit of 15 June 2021. It comprises ten working groups across a number of policy areas and operates under five co-chairs: Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and US Trade Representative Katherine Tai.
