The College of Europe invites applications for the position of Rector to further the objectives and traditions of the College. He or she will succeed the present Rector, Professor Jörg Monar, whose second mandate will end in August 2020.
Candidates for the position must have the nationality of a European country and should demonstrate substantial academic qualities in the field of European studies, a proven experience of the administration and management of an academic structure of some complexity, and should be able to combine the pursuit of academic excellence at international level with sound budgetary management.
