Do you want to join our team on African peace and security? NUPI are looking for a PhD level researcher to coordinate the Training for Peace (TfP) programme, based in Oslo, Norway. The candidate needs to have professional experience with, and a publication record on, peace and security issues in Africa. The position is contingent on continued funding for the TfP Programme.
The TfP Programme is a Norwegian funded capacity support programme to the African Union Commission (AUC). The primary objective of the TfP is to contribute to strengthening the capacity of the AUC to prevent, manage and resolve conflicts and insecurity on the continent through the deployment of effective full spectrum peace operations.
