A New-Med event – in cooperation with the Centre for European Perspective of Slovenia – on social and geopolitical transformations in the Mediterranean and the prospects of regional cooperation. The event will take place within the framework of the 2019 Bled Strategic Forum (Bsf), September 2-3, 2019. About 50 young scholars selected by Bsf organizers and coming from a large number of countries, mostly from the Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe, will take part in the meeting, interacting with the panelists. Tentatively, the meeting will be divided into two sessions:
Session I – A Region in Turmoil: Geopolitical Dynamics and Social Change in the Mediterranean
Session II – Prospect of Regional Cooperation in the Mediterranean and the Role of International Organizations
