POWER2YOUTH is a consortium made up of 12 institutes and universities funded by the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme (FP7). The project will study the causes and effects of processes of exclusion of young people in the South and East of the Mediterranean, while seeking to identify the factors that favor their inclusion. The three-year project focuses in particular on bottom-up processes of change and on the transformative potential of new generations through an interdisciplinary approach, different levels of analysis (macro, meso and micro) and six national case studies (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, the Occupied Territories Palestinians, Lebanon, Turkey). The project was launched by a public conference in Rome on 11 April . Please read the press release here.
