“Prestigious award for ‘MNCwhispering’ collection” (CIR, Slovenia)

The MNCwhispering collection for teaching International Business (IB) won the 2023 Academy of International Business (AIB) Teaching Innovation Award. The collection has several advantages. It is freely available in open access. It introduces an innovative format to IB teaching (the collection includes an e-book, video case studies, knowledge clips and teaching notes for lecturers). It links theory and research results with a wealth of practical experience shared by businesses and policy makers in IB (also from countries less represented in traditional IB textbooks). Finally, it is highly user-centred (both the content and format of materials stem from students’ and lecturers’ needs, the materials are available in English and local languages of partner institutions). The MNCwhispering methodology and materials were developed as part of the VCL4IB Erasmus+ project. The winning team includes Filip De Beule and Ysabel Nauwelaerts from KU Leuven, Katarzyna Mroczek-Dąbrowska and Aleksandra Kania from the Poznan University of Economics And Business, Hinrich Voss and Giles Blackburne from the University of Leeds, Nükhet Vardar from the El Izi Communications Consultancy, and Andreja Jaklič, Iris Koleša and Anže Burger from the Centre of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana.
