Prof. dr. Maja Bučar, head of CIR (Centre of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia), attended the EADI (European Association of Development Institutes) Directors Meeting in Cordoba, Spain, between 17 and 18 October. During the meeting, she chaired the workshop on science-policy interfaces at the global level. The participants discussed a wide set of questions; from how to stimulate policy relevant research to possible approaches of researchers and research organisations to policy makers in the quest to present the research results to enable evidence-based policy making.
