During its 76th plenary on 6 October 2022, the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities elected prof. dr. Petra Roter (also a member of the Centre of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia) as its President for a two-year mandate. The Advisory Committee is composed of 18 independent experts elected and appointed for four years. It is responsible for evaluating the implementation of the Framework Convention in 39 state parties and Kosovo, as well as for advising the Committee of Ministers. Prof. dr. Roter is acting as a member of the Advisory Committee for her second term. She already served as First Vice-President of the said Advisory Committee between 2014 and 2016, and as President between 2016 and 2018. Congratulations!
