Public Discussion “Future of Think Tanks in Ukraine: Tasks, Challenges, Opportunities” organized by the Razumkov Centre was held in Kyiv
On January 30, 2020, a public discussion “Future of Think Tanks in Ukraine: Tasks, Challenges, Opportunities” was held in Kyiv. The discussion was organized by the Razumkov Centre. The discussion was dedicated to the publication of 2019 Global Go to Think Tank Index Report, (Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program, University of Pennsylvania). The discussion was attended by representatives of the Government of Ukraine, Ukrainian Parliament, international organizations, universities, research institutions, leading Ukrainian think tanks. During the event, the following issues were discussed:
- The role and place of think tanks in shaping public policy today and for the next 10 years
- Products of think tanks in information overload: how to keep attention of the society and government?
- How to ensure sustainable operation and development of think tanks?
The event was attended by over 70 participants and media representatives.
