What do European academics and policy makers think about the current challenges facing the EU? At this year’s virtual IEP Annual Conference, experts from all over Europe discussed strategies for the future of Europe, especially with regard to the Conference on the Future of Europe and a sustainable and resilient EU. The main cross-cutting themes were the significance of the 2021 German federal elections for European policy and differentiated integration as a policy approach for dealing with different realities.
