TEPSA awarded 6 framework contracts with the European Parliament

TEPSA is happy to announce that it will continue its long-standing successful cooperation with the European Parliament in the field of EU External Relations.

In 2019, TEPSA was awarded 6 framework contracts to provide the European Parliament’s Committees and Subcommittees with external academic expertise for five years in the following topics:

  • EU Enlargement, Eastern Neighbourhood, Northern Policy, non-European countries, EEA, Russia and Central Asia
  • Southern Neighbourhood and Greater Middle East
  • Development
  • Security and Defence
  • Human Rights and Democracy
  • Impact assessment, ex-post evaluation, estimating European added value and stress testing of EU policy in the field of Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence, Human Rights, Development and International Trade.

Thanks to these framework contracts, researchers from the wider TEPSA network will be able to carry our research assignments and to present their findings to Members of the European Parliament  and civil society representatives during parliamentary hearings and workshops in Brussels or in Strasbourg. Through this cooperation TEPSA is able to maximise the visibility of the work of its member institutes and its impact on EU policymaking.

TEPSA would like to thank the experts who participated in the tender procedure for their contribution during the application phase. All papers published in the framework of this cooperation will be available on the TEPSA website.
