TEPSA, together with its Austrian member, the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), has been awarded the Central European Initiative (CEI) Cooperation Fund Grant for the organisation of TEPSA’s upcoming Pre-Presidency Conference (PPC) in Vienna, on 14-15 June 2016.
The CEI Cooperation Fund co-finances CEI Cooperation Activities aimed at strengthening cooperation among CEI Member States. It aims at capacity-building by knowledge transfer and sharing, in particular from EU CEI Member States to non-EU CEI Member States, and at exchanging experiences and good practice among all CEI Member States by favouring mobility and networking.
In line with these objectives, TEPSA Pre-Presidency Conference in Vienna will be an important occasion to:
- enhance European strategic cooperation in the Western Balkans – Danube Region;
- foster knowledge-sharing on the European Integration between European Research Area (ERA) and non-ERA academics;
- enhance trans-European partnership and cooperation.
The PPC will also be an occasion to discuss some of the top challenges of the EU agenda and the future of Europe.
