The EU’s global response in tackling the COVID-19 crisis follows a ‘Team Europe’ approach and also includes large amounts of money to provide quick und targeted support to the neighbouring partners. The authors of this policy brief analyse the role of the EU as a global actor in times of the corona crisis with a special focus on Africa and the countries of the Eastern Partnership and furthermore develop policy recommendations.
