The discussion “The Gender Dimension of COVID-19: Diplomacy in Times of Crisis and Crisis Management” is the first in a series of four discussions. The following discussions will discuss the role of gender in the military structures of the Baltic States and NATO, the role of gender in youth political activism, as well as the guidance that Latvia can provide to the world in the field of gender equality. The discussion cycle takes place within the advertising campaign of the book “Women in Latvia’s Foreign and Security Policy.” The project is supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Riga. The book will be published in December 2020.
