While employment for all is proving to be an ideal that is becoming less and less accessible, the concept of a living wage is increasingly emerging as the main, if not the only, way of taking more or less serious action to put an end to poverty, both quickly and sustainably. But is this hypothesis really more realistic than that of returning to work for all? Should we not rather see two hypotheses that are ultimately complementary?
