2020 marks 25 years since NUPI’s first Russia Conference. Since 1995, the Russia Conference has been a meeting place for international and Norwegian scholars to debate the core questions in Russian foreign and domestic policy. Because of Covid19, our conference was this year transformed into a fully digital event.
This year’s programme continues the tradition of taking a focused and varied look at core issues facing Russia by exploring if and how rivalry between major powers is affecting Arctic politics and shaping the premises for northern cooperation.
