“UN@75: Rethinking multilateralism”, 28 September 2020 (CIDOB, Spain)

The CIDOB Report UN@75: Rethinking multilateralism examines the challenges currently facing the UN and offers pathways for the reform and strengthening of multilateralism and global cooperation. The Pew Research Center, a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world, has published the study International Cooperation Welcomed Across 14 Advanced Economies, that focuses on views of how the UN carries out its mission and ratings for how the World Health Organization (WHO) has handled the coronavirus outbreak from citizens in the United States, Canada, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and South Korea. 

Both reports will be presented on Monday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m. in an online event with the participation of James Bell, Vice President of Global Strategy at Pew Research Center, Cristina Manzano, director of esglobal, Marie Vandendriessche, senior researcher at EsadeGeo Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics, Pol Bargués, research fellow at CIDOB, and Pol Morillas, director of CIDOB, as moderator of the session.
