Study Trip to Berlin and Brussels, 13 – 18 March 2017

The Capacity Development Team of the Institut für Europäische Politik will host a study trip to Berlin and Brussels from 13 to 18 March for 22 participants of its projects in Ukraine. The delegation includes representatives of Ukrainian civil society organisations and staffers of committee secretariats of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada). The objective of the study trip is to foster know-how and competences in the field of European Integration and EU coordination. At the same time, it will strengthen the participants’ professional network with key actors in Berlin and Brussels.

The study visit can be seen as a direct follow-up and complementary action to the training series within the project “EU Association Trainings”, implemented by Institut für Europäische Politik in 2016 in Ukraine and supported by the Federal Foreign Office. The trainings had at their core the effective implementation of provisions related to the Association Agreement/Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU and Ukraine.


Multiplier workshop “TruLies – The Truth about Lies on Europe”

On 28 March 2017, the project will be presented at a multiplier workshop organized by the Europe Direct network in Nuremberg.

Second Multiplier workshop and public debate “TruLies – The Truth about Lies on Europe”

On 24 May 2017, a second multiplier workshop as well as the closing event in form of a public debate following a presentation of the project’s results will take place.
