This workshop explores the extent to which Europe’s democratic processes and institutions have been compromised or have demonstrated resilience during the Covid-19 crisis. To this end, it interrogates whether support for European institutions and policies has been altered and how the EU’s actorness and legitimacy has been framed by elites and citizens during the crisis. The event will take place online, participants must register prior to the event to receive the meeting ID and password.
